Penshurst has an active Amateur Dramatic Society (PADS) which puts on one to two plays every year in the Village Hall, and a pantomime once every two years in February. The society in common with many others was formed after the Second World War at a time when travel to and from London was restricted. More recently it has successfully teamed up with Blackham Country Players to provide added recource and venues for plays in the area.
