In Autumn 2016, a competition was announced to coincide with the launch of the website.

A competition for Penshurst children

Have you ever wondered who lived in your house before you? And when it was built? Now is the chance to find out!

The Penshurst Living Archive is mounting a competition for pupils of Penshurst Church of England Primary School and any other children who live in Penshurst to write a short piece about their house. It could be the history of the house, it could be about someone who once lived there, or what it is like now. It could about what the land was used for before the house was built. It could have pictures or photographs.”
