A wholly new guide to the history of Penshurst’s church and of the people commemorated inside was produced in 2014. Both author David Lough and photographer Martin Barraud lived in Penshurst at the time. Artwork and design was carried out by a company called Motivation 1981, specialists int he interpretation of historic buildings. The guide was produced with the help of funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the Jackson Foundation.
